Nature writer and Catamaran essay contributor Charles Hood will be in conversation with Jonathan Franzen about his new collection of essays A Salad Only the Devil Would Eat: The Joys of Ugly Nature.

Reserve your seats for one or two guests. Each reservation comes with one copy of Charles Hood’s new book, and includes author book signing.

This event will be held at the Colligan Theater in Santa Cruz. Doors open at 5:30, the talk will be from 6:00-7:00, followed by a reception on the Colligan plaza.

Please note that the Colligan Theater asks that you be vaccinated in order to attend this indoor event. Patrons will also be asked to wear masks during the talk, but not at the reception outdoors.

You will enter your guest names at checkout. Your names will be on our will call list at the door, and you’ll receive your book upon arrival.
