SYED AFZAL HAIDER is the author of two novels, To Be With Her and Life of Ganesh, and the newly-released story collection The Dying Sun and Other Stories. He is the founder and senior editor of Chicago Quarterly Review. His stories have appeared in many literary magazines including in Catamaran. Oxford University Press, Milkweed Editions, Penguin Books and Longman Literature have anthologized his work.
